My Original GHD died after 8 -10 years. I had been looking at a new one and then mine stopped working. I was going for the original until I saw the "Gold" GHD for not much more. Fast delivery as always and she's beautiful. Heats up so fast. When you plug it in it makes a noise and also when you turn it on. Turns off after 30 mins of not being used and just glides through my hair. Highly recommended GHD.

I can’t believe how quickly it heats up. Curved edges mean no snags. I have straight hair quick as a flash!

I have thick long curly hair .

I claimed my mother inlaws ghd gold max straightener 7years ago and it recently died on me early December 2021 , it was a nightmare didnt have the money on me at the time so i looked at reviews on cheaper hair straighteners and i found one where people said it did a better job than ghd so i bought a cheap one and i was so unimpressed why did i doubt ghd for

I replaced my 4 year old GHDs with the gold and wish I’d done it sooner. It heats up really quickly and is by far superior to the original.
